Stew

Ingredients

 

1 kilo mutton/chicken/beef

250 gm onion chopped

250 gm tomato chopped

1 tsp garlic paste

1 tsp ginger paste

5-6 whole black pepper

4-6 cloves

2 bari illaichi

3 small illaichi

1/2 tsp zeera

Salt acc. to taste

8-10 Whole dried red chilies

1 tbs dhuniya seeds or dhuniya powder

1 tbs dhuniya seeds or dhuniya powder

1 stick cinnamon

1 bay leaf

100 gm yogurt

1/2 tsp haldi powder

3-4 tbs oil

 

instructions

 

Saute the onion in oil til transparent. Add the meat and dry its water. Add all the ingredients and enough water to allow it to tenderize. Cover and cook on low heat til meat becomes tender. Garnish with fresh dhuniya leaves and chopped green chilies.
